UNICORE type cores:
Generall reinforcement methods can be applied to the cores:

1) Impregnated core
2) Core without varnish (bare)
3) Core with epoxy coated. Layer thickness approx. between 0,05 mm - 2 mm. The coat is applied with whirl-sintering method.

must be indicated when ordering the cores.

Several kinds of reinforcement and toroidal tape core forms

1) Toroidal tape core, impregnated
2) Toroidal tape core without varnish (bare)
3) Toroidal tape core with epoxy coated. Layer thickness approx. between 0,05 mm - 2 mm. The coat is applied with whirl-sintering method.
This method allows the winding of the toroidal tape core without additional insulation.

SPECIAL SPLIT TAPE CORE DESIGNS
The cores are normally cut in the ratio 1:1.
For special requirements please give detail of the exact position of the cut.
Order requirements:

- Inner window e-g
- Outer window a-b
- width
- with/without impregnation

must be indicated when ordering the cores.

- Cut cores can be fastened with a bending belt (made from non-magnetic stainless steel materials). Each half is marked with the same number so that each pair can be easily identified.
Special Core Production according customer needs

We can produce special cores according your requirements. Impregnated cores , bare cores (not varnished) and epoxy coated cores are produced according to customers specifications.  For that purpose we need your drawings only.

General testing methods applied on the products:

1) Magnetisation B-H Curve: By plotting values of flux density, ( B ) against the field strength,
( H ) we can produce a set of curves called Magnetisation Curves, Magnetic Hysteresis Curves
or more commonly B-H Curves for each type of core material used (according IEC 60404-3
and IEC 60402-2)

2) Epstein Frame Testing (according IEC 60404-2)

3) Digital Iron Loss Testing: This method will be done with one friability drum and one abrasion
drum for making comparisons between the two parameters under identical test conditions.
